I’ve known for a while that Debbie Reynolds was going to auction off her huge collection of Hollywood costumes and memorabilia, but now there’s a catalog! It’s absolutely amazing and contains some of the most famous costumes of all time, and it’s free to download.

Also in the catalog you can read about an upcoming exhibition at the V&A, Style and Seduction: The Art of Hollywood Costume Design, which will hopefully feature some of the costumes from the catalog. It will start October 20, 2012, and I’ll definitely be there!

I just found a new blog to follow, and just have to share it. I’m sure lots of people already know about it, but Golden Girl of the West is the blog of Syd Divine who has “a deep family heritage in the American Old West, land of Rootin Tootin Cowgirls, Senoritas, Rodeos, Dude Ranches and Hoedowns”. This heritage is obviously a big influence on her wonderful style. Her blog makes me want to live in the American Southwest (more specifically in the vicinity of California) even more than I already do. Check out some of her fantastic outfits!
