Vinny and Vernelle

I little while ago I was asked by Jessie of Vinny and Vernelle if I wanted to model some of her pieces and in exchange get to keep them. I said yes of course because she makes some beautiful stuff, and you should check out her Etsy shop!

Three “neck fancies”, sort of like a clip on bow/ruff/thing, arrived in the gorgeous package pictured above. I was especially impressed at how they were just as beautiful, if not more, on the back as on the front, really well made!

Below are my photos of the first piece, a black velvet bow with powder pink ruffles.

My scrapbooks

I thought I’d show some pages from my scrapbooks. I have three so far (all too big to fit the scanner I’m afraid) plus a box full of unsorted clippings, and here are some pages from scrapbook number one.

Wardrobe project: Beaded dress

I took these photos because I was thinking of selling this dress. It’s one of my most beautiful dresses and definitely the most intricate one, but I had only used it once since it was just too big for me. The beading makes it close to impossible to take in without removing beads so I thought it might be time to let it go.

When I was taking these photos I noticed that it suddenly fits me perfectly, which makes me happy both because I can wear the dress and because it means I’m actually not quite as skinny as I was a couple of years ago! I don’t think I will be selling it now.

Wardrobe project: green skirt

I haven’t taken any wardrobe project photos all winter because it has been too dark. The days are getting brighter now though and I got out of school before noon today and it was fairly bright by the kitchen window, so I thought I’d use the opportunity.

Skirt: Vivien of Holloway. I love this skirt and highly recommend it! The people at Vivien of Holloway were really nice when my package got lost in the mail as well and sent me a replacement. Unfortunately they didn’t have any left in XS for the replacement so I had to get an S and take it in a bit, but I think this might be even better because I love the length.
Shirt: Thrifted.
Tights: H&M.
Shoes: A shoe store outside Gallerian in Stockholm, I don’t remember the name.
