Here’s an absolutely beautiful little film from The Prelinger Archives. It shows how synthetic materials can be used and it looks like it’s from the late 30s. The fashions are perfection, but best of all is the amazing boudoir towards the end of the film where everything is made of lucite or some other clear plastic. There is no sound unfortunately.
