I’ve been sick and home from work a lot lately, so I took the opportunity to use that time for something I’ve been planning to do a long time, reorganizing my large vintage magazine collection.

I absolutely love organizing so this was fun!

I arranged the magazines in alphabetical order, and each magazine stack is arranged in rising order after year and month.

To make it easier to find things I cut strips of paper and stuck in the first issue of every magazine. Each strip is marked with title and year.

If I pull out the strip further I can also see which months I own for each magazine, handy if I’m looking for something specific like Christmas magazines. If I acquire more months I just have to fill them in.
