It’s a rare sunny day on this crap spring/summer, still super windy though and no summer warmth yet.
I wish I was wearing summer clothes but my wool skirt and the fluffy gorilla sweater Henrik thrifted for me last week aren’t too bad.
Got the perfect size bowl for the boggy little carnivorous garden.
Shelf still life.
Rather glamorous exercise getup today.
Actually proper summer today! I even had to change out of this to something cooler after a walk.
Forest pool on an exceedingly lovely walk yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to finally feel the sun.
Found lots of lily of the valley in the forest!
Candles looking beautiful the other night.
Went to a botanical garden yesterday and wore something garden themed. The brooches are bees!
Well camouflaged new inhabitant of the windowsill.
About to read these very aesthetically pleasing horror comics.
V cool skull umlauts.
And check this lady out.
Beatnik club with cage dancer!
Comic version of the devil’s foot prints! One of my favourite supernatural mysteries.
Great looking demon.
The look of the day is 80s airbrush poster.
Why yes, this is the best dress ever.
Have to shake off all that pretty posing with something silly!
Drawing under the shade of a latticed sun hat.
I’m not usually this hugely into sun and heat, but after this rubbish spring it’s absolute bliss.
Beautiful Norwegian bunads at the midsummer celebrations.
Acting stupid last Christmas.
Acting a little less stupid some other time.
A good outfit.
My parents’ garden.
Heuchera, one of my favourites.
Hostas and mixed flowers.
Completely black petunias.
Some outtakes from photographing my The Original Bad Girl lurex jumpsuit last Christmas, in which you can’t see the actual jumpsuit.
Another jumpsuit outtake.
Found these pictures on my boyfriend’s phone. Trying on clothes and unintentionally managing to look eeever so slightly Audrey Horne-esque. A once in a lifetime occurrence no doubt.
Completely knackered after my little sister’s beautiful wedding yesterday!
Posing for my sister’s wedding photos where we had the party. Spectacularly beautiful place.
Rose parasol at the photo shoot.
At the party.
Back home after a week with my family and found that my tiny baby Nepenthes has been doing really well in its little plastic bag greenhouse, sprouting one fully formed new pitcher and several more on the way!
So happy to see my plants again.
Some more in the kitchen awaiting repotting. I raided my mum’s cupboards and the local flea market for plant containers.
The tiny but beautiful flowers on the Ceropegia Wodii.
