Prints are back!

Prints are finally available again both at johannaost.com and in my Etsy shop!

Etsy is becoming an increasingly difficult place to use for me as a very small business (rising fees, constantly pushing sellers to have sales and buying promoted listings), so I would like to ask you to consider buying prints and originals from my own website if possible. Not only does it help me stay in business, prices are usually cheaper as well!

I know the ordering process on my site is not the most straightforward, but we’re working on that!

New art: Crossroad

Crossroad

Original and prints available.

Made for #aprilfae on Instagram on the theme “The Veils are Thin”.

Depicting a legend from Swedish folklore which says that if you want to learn to play violin from master fiddler Näcken, you should go to a crossroad (where the veil between the worlds is thin) and play a leg of mutton (“sheep violin” in Swedish). Like many magical creatures Näcken can’t stand to see someone doing something so ridiculous without interfering, so he will soon appear to set you right.
