Better late than never so I finally edited some photos of my Halloween costume. I was an unseelie faerie queen in some sort of pseudo medieval style via the 60s.
I made everything myself as ususal, apart from the gloves which weren’t part of the original plan and just happened to match very well. The crown was simply made from cardboard, and the big braids are a pair of stuffed black tights.

I made this dress to wear as part of my Halloween costume. I’ve wanted a dress like this for a long time so I took the opportunity to make it properly despite being barely visible in my actual Halloween costume.

As I said in the Instagram post, I went to a Hollywood themed club this weekend. I made a sparkly skirt to go with my sequined tiger print blouse (also made by me) and went as a jungle queen à la 1940s Hollywood.

A belated Instagram October, and a very meagre one. Work has been taking all my energy lately and you may have noticed I haven’t blogged much either. I didn’t even have the energy to make a Halloween costume! Though I did have grand plans which will have to wait until next year.
