Wardrobe project: Beaded dress

Apr 10, 2009 in Wardrobe Project

I took these photos because I was thinking of selling this dress. It’s one of my most beautiful dresses and definitely the most intricate one, but I had only used it once since it was just too big for me. The beading makes it close to impossible to take in without removing beads so I thought it might be time to let it go.

When I was taking these photos I noticed that it suddenly fits me perfectly, which makes me happy both because I can wear the dress and because it means I’m actually not quite as skinny as I was a couple of years ago! I don’t think I will be selling it now.

Dress: Ebay. The brand is Jack Bryant.
Tights: Gift from Lisis.
Shoes: Gift from Henrik.

Rolled oat (not sure if that’s the right word, I looked it up in a dictionary) cookies I made a couple of days ago.

Etsy!

I used to have an Etsy store, but when they wouldn’t accept my new credit card it was suspended and has been so for months. Now they’re finally accepting PayPal so my store is open again!

I will be selling things I’ve made other than paintings and drawings, like dolls and perhaps some clothing items. I’m also planning to sell some vintage clothing that doesn’t fit me. I will be adding more items over the next week so keep checking back if you’re interested!

(By the way, has anyone noticed what happens when you mouse over my blog header?)
